Project Management

Our project services include the following:

Initial Project Planning to establish project goals, budgets, construction approach, and implementation schedules.  This process can include project cost/benefit analysis, conceptual and planning studies to determine the most economical solution, and construction phasing studies to minimize production downtime.

Project Management Services, including design management and coordination, project scheduling, budget monitoring, equipment procurement support and material requisitioning, building permitting support, assistance with construction bidding, evaluation and award,

Engineered Construction Bid Packages consisting of electrical, controls, and instrumentation drawings and specifications.  In addition, related mechanical, civil, or structural engineering documents can be developed by our prequalified subconsultants and integrated into a cohesive, comprehensive construction bid package.  All drawings are produced using customized CAD software.

Field Services including construction support, start-up, and training services.  These services can cover equipment, material, and instrument submittal reviews, factory checkout, witness testing and acceptance, and construction technical observation and support.  Electrical and control system start-up services can be provided as well, including system checkout and commissioning support services such as wiring verification, equipment testing and troubleshooting, control system loop tuning and optimization, and personnel training.

Electrical Engineering

Damatt Engineering provides complete electrical engineering services related to the design, simulation, operation, control, optimization, and automation of industrial power systems, with major project experience in power generation and distribution systems, including substations.  Typical project deliverables include: single-line diagrams, three-line metering and relaying diagrams, AC and DC schematics, interconnection wiring diagrams, panelboard schedules, site and building raceway, grounding and lighting plans, electrical equipment arrangement plans and elevations, overhead pole line and underground power distribution details, UPS, emergency power, and substation battery-based system designs, motor control center details, electrical cable and raceway schedules, and major electrical equipment specifications and RFP packages for procurement.
