Electrical Engineer

Michael has been with Damatt Engineering since 2013 working on projects that require complex design and engineering work. His experience encompasses all project phases from creating conceptual designs continuing through to the construction and commissioning process. His engineering work focuses on high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical power distribution systems and includes work with electrical protection systems, SCADA control and automation, motor control and protection, and cogeneration units within large industrial facilities.

Michael has worked for a diverse range of clients and industries including cement and mining, petrochemical, universities, and cogeneration facilities. His experience includes complete power system analysis preparing load flow, short-circuit, coordination, and arc-flash hazard studies.

He also has experience in control panel design, instrumentation, distributed generation and automation, microgrid systems, and power quality analysis.
